Sion Segal, Ph.D. is a versatile psychologist with broad interests and experience. He takes an integrative approach, drawing from his diverse training and experiences, including Mindfulness-Based Therapy, CBT, Family Systems Therapy, and Strategic Therapy, to develop a results-oriented plan for each client.
Dr. Segal provides individual, family, and group therapy to a wide range of ages (child through adult), with particular interest in assisting young people encountering difficulty with transitions to middle school, high school, college, and adult life. Such issues may stem from life circumstances, neuro-developmental challenges, and psychiatric disorders including:
Anxiety, depression & mood disorders
ADHD, executive dysfunction
High functioning autism
Chronic illness
Life stressors including relocation, divorce, remarriage, and loss
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Segal provides consultation to schools, summer camps, primary care physicians, organizations, and other therapists.
